What’s Happening in NYC Public Schools - November 2026

Thursday, November 19
3:30-6:30pm
P.S. 254 - 2469 East 18 Street

Complete the online form on https://www.myschoolapps.com/ . Online forms are processed within 24 hours of submission by the parent. The Family Income Inquiry form is the basis for determining our school’s eligibility for Title I Funding. Based on qualifying for Title 1, with the extra funding we were able to secure extra teachers, curriculum and the children also did not need to purchase any school supplies. Please fill it out; the information will not be seen by anyone. When the form asks for the school district use “New York City”.

This tool allows families to view their child's literacy curriculum, including current modules, essential questions, and recommended reading lists. It also provides access to Sora, the free digital library available to all NYCPS students.

Your child is bringing home a packet of forms Attachments A -E plus the Blue Emergency Card for you to fill out. All forms must be filled out completely. Especially the Blue Emergency card (in the event the computers go down, we will be able to access the emergency information).

Please review arrival and dismissal time and locations!
