Who We Are

We have a very culturally diverse community.  We always invite and encourage our community to participate in many school events.  Such as... October Fest, chorus concerts, our community garden, use of our beautiful playground and other activities through the year!

  • Our diverse student population speaks up to 15 different languages!
  • Our extensive arts program includes partnerships with Empower thru Music, Studio in a School, Marquis Studio and Puppetry in Practice!

Monday, 9/28 Back To School Night at PS 254

Monday, September 28th is Back to School Night. Parents enter through the main entrance on East18 Street and go directly to the classroom. All of the sessions will contain the same information.

~4:30-5:20
~5:30-6:20
~6:30-7:20

PA monthly snack sale will be held on Friday, October 2.
Lunch Forms/Title I

Lunch Forms/Title I

Complete the online form on https://www.myschoolapps.com/ . Online forms are processed within 24 hours of submission by the parent. The Family Income Inquiry form is the basis for determining our school’s eligibility for Title I Funding. Based on qualifying for Title 1, with the extra funding we were able to secure extra teachers, curriculum and the children also did not need to purchase any school supplies. Please fill it out; the information will not be seen by anyone. When the form asks for the school district use “New York City”.
