Wear Gold Colors to Show Support and Awareness

Your child is bringing home a packet of forms Attachments A -E plus the Blue Emergency Card for you to fill out. All forms must be filled out completely. Especially the Blue Emergency card (in the event the computers go down, we will be able to access the emergency information).

Complete the online form on https://www.myschoolapps.com/ . Online forms are processed within 24 hours of submission by the parent. The Family Income Inquiry form is the basis for determining our school’s eligibility for Title I Funding. Based on qualifying for Title 1, with the extra funding we were able to secure extra teachers, curriculum and the children also did not need to purchase any school supplies. Please fill it out; the information will not be seen by anyone. When the form asks for the school district use “New York City”.

First Day of School for all students is Thursday, September 10.
~Regular school hours are 8:00-2:20pm with staggered dismissal times.
~Thursday 9/10 and Friday 9/11 will be shorten days for 3K & Pre-K students - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
~Thursday 9/10 and Friday 9/11 will be shorten days for Kindergarten students - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
~First Full day of school for 3K, Pre-K and Kindergarten will begin on Monday, Sept. 14.

PS 254 is serving breakfast and lunch for the neighborhood from Monday, June 29, 2026 – Friday, September 4, 2026
Breakfast Service Time: 8 AM - 9:15 AM
Lunch Service Time: 11 AM - 1:15 PM
